Festival Ambassadors   Do you have a passion for the arts? Do you speak a foreign language? Do you like to mingle with artists and other interesting people? Are you responsible and organised? Equally important, are you available from 14 May to 13 June 2010? Then go ahead and take on a special role as Festival Ambassador for the Singapore Arts Festival. Roles • Volunteer Crew/Performers • Front of House • Marketing • Education and Outreach All volunteers are required to attend two training sessions. Session 1 • Introduction to Volunteering for the Arts • Skills needed for the different roles and responsibilities • Dealing with difficult people • Delivering good service Session 2 • The Festival Programmes • Specific duties and schedules for the Festival Volunteers who work full days will be given transport and food allowance. Mandarin-speaking Volunteers needed by Tsao

We are looking for mandarin-speaking volunteers to participate in our SWING Training of Trainers (ToT) and be trained as facilitators. This is our 3rd time running it, and this time we are targeting participants who are proficient in Mandarin.

Tsao Foundation, through its initiative, the International Longevity Centre Singapore, has launched the Sharing Wellness and Initiatives Group or SWING in 2016. SWING is a community development programme that facilitates older adults’ participation in the community. SWING focuses on bringing older people and other residents together and helps them take action that will help promote wellness and community support.

Date: 3 October 2017 – 17 October 2017, 31 October 2017 & 7 November 2017 (Every Tuesday)

Time: 12pm to 5pm (Lunch provided from 12pm to 1pm)

Venue: Whampoa CC
